The penultimate day of our trip was devoted to recovery from the previous exhausting weeks. To this end, we visited the leisure island Sintosa in the south of Singapore.
There is a zipline on the island, with which you can float suspended on a rope at 60 km/h over the jungle and the sea. Despite some cases of vertigo all group members participated, which turned out to be rewarding.
Then we visited the S.E.A. Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the world. Through a glass tunnel we crossed the shark tank to then be impressed by the more than 100,000 marine life.
For lunch we ate at different places.
Then we went to the beach where we relaxed until late afternoon. There is also the southernmost point of continental Asia.
In the evening we ended the island trip with a visit to Mt Faber, the highest mountain in Singapore, which is only slightly higher than the skyscrapers surrounding it. But still it provided us with an impressive view over parts of the city.
Since tomorrow evening it already goes to the airport and the whole day is filled with the program, suitcases are already packed tonight and we go one last time to celebrate together.
